With Altran technologies acquiring Aricent in late 2017. The duo turned the tide to invest heavily on their R&D and to create a global leader in R&D engineering services with unique and differentiated innovation.
Aricent was ecstatic to announce its acquisition and joining force with Altran, an organization which share deep ties and shares a common goal. Altran has been working for more than three decades across sectors: Automotive, Aeronautics, Space, Defence & Naval, Rail, Infrastructure & Transport, Industry & Consumer Products, Life Sciences, Communications, Semiconductor & Electronics, Software & Internet, Finance & Public Sector.
In 2019, Altran was acquired by French giant Capgemini which is known worldwide for its consulting, IT services & digital transformation. With this takeover of Altran, Capgemini Technology Services India Limited became the majority shareholder in Aricent.
